Wear a Hat Day – Best Hat Competition – 28 March 2024
We participated in the Brain Tumor Research Wear a Hat Day campaign to raise awareness of the cause. We supported our residents to create hats to wear for the occasion and held a Best Hat Competition to celebrate their efforts. Thank you to our work placement students Josephine, Judit, Suneet and Arianne for all their support towards making the day a success. Thank you to Emily and Julie, residents of Havisham & Pickwick, for agreeing to judge the competition. Congratulations to John, resident on Dorrit and his wife Gwen who were our winners and to runners up Dorcas, Copperfield, and a collaborative entry from Dorrit. Thank you to Keith, son of our resident John on Dorrit, who loaned his wonderful collection of hats to us for the day, which brought a lot of smiles and laughter!
