A World of Culture Under One Roof At Priscilla Wakefield House – 2026
Priscilla Wakefield House came alive with colour, music, and celebration on 19th June as residents, families, staff, and members of the local community gathered for our much-loved Annual Cultural Day.
The day was a wonderful reminder that our differences are something to celebrate. From the spectacular parade of traditional dress to the lively music, dancing, and delicious international cuisine, every moment reflected the rich diversity that makes our community so unique.
One of the biggest highlights was seeing staff and guests proudly wearing traditional outfits from around the world, each telling a story of heritage, identity, and pride. The vibrant atmosphere encouraged everyone to join in the celebrations, creating unforgettable memories filled with smiles, laughter, and friendship.
We were also delighted to welcome distinguished guests whose presence added to the occasion and highlighted the importance of embracing inclusion and cultural understanding.
Cultural Day is more than just an event—it is a celebration of the people who make Priscilla Wakefield House feel like home. It reminds us that while we come from many different backgrounds, we are united by kindness, respect, and a shared sense of community.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s celebration such a tremendous success. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
