Belly Dancing Performance – 7 February 2024
Wellbeing coordinators Amerissa and Burchin wowed our residents and staff with an amazing belly dance performance. The origins of belly dancing, though unclear, can be traced to the Middle East, the Mediterranean and Africa. In fact, in the Arabic language, the term belly dancing is Raqs Sharqi and in Turkish, it is Oryantal dansi. THANK YOU to Amerissa and Burchin for sharing their talents and providing a lively, memorable afternoon of entertainment.
