To celebrate Look at the Leaves Day, residents and staff of Havisham & Pickwick enjoyed a creative arts and crafts session painting leaves. We gathered colourful autumn leaves and provided paints, brushes, and sponges. Residents selected leaves to decorate, experimenting with various colours and patterns, transforming each leaf into a unique piece of art. This hands-on activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and social interaction, as everyone shared ideas and admired each other’s work. The vibrant painted leaves were later displayed in a communal area, bringing a festive, seasonal touch to our home and a sense of pride to our residents.
