Celebrating Creativity on World Art Day – 15 April 2026
At Priscilla Wakefield House, World Art Day was marked with a joyful celebration of creativity, self-expression, and togetherness. Our residents embraced the occasion with enthusiasm, taking part in a relaxing and engaging painting session where imagination truly came to life through colour and design.
The atmosphere was filled with focus, laughter, and a wonderful sense of accomplishment as each resident created their own unique piece of art. These moments not only encouraged creativity but also provided a meaningful opportunity for self-expression and connection.
To make the day even more enjoyable, everyone gathered for a cosy tea and coffee break, sharing conversations, smiles, and reflections on their artwork. It was a perfect balance of creativity and companionship, highlighting the importance of social interaction and wellbeing.
World Art Day at Priscilla Wakefield House was a heartwarming reminder of how creativity can bring people together, inspire confidence, and create lasting memories.
