Tiger Day Celebration – 29 July 2024
This annual event serves as a means of raising awareness about tiger conservation. The idea for this day was developed in 2010 during the Russian Tiger Summit in Saint Petersburg. The main goal of International Tiger Day is to preserve these amazing creatures and their natural environments. In honour of Tiger Day our residents Teresa and Emily, became tigers for the day much to everyone’s delight! Teresa and Emily visited the lounges and rooms to wish everyone a grrrreat day! In keeping with the theme, the film Jungle Book was projected in the courtyard. There was also music and dancing. It was a fun filled day, THANK YOU to Teresa and Emily for being such great sports, embracing the day and bringing joy to all!
