Summer Beach Party – 26 July 2024
We brought the beach to PWH for all to enjoy. The courtyard was transformed with tropical backdrops and images of the seaside were projected on a big screen. We had sand and toys, paddling pools, water pistols and bubbles to enhance the immersive sensory experience. Residents enjoyed traditional fish & chips or battered sausage, and we fired up the BBQ. An array of delicious BBQ meats and a rainbow of accompaniments were freely available for all. The party atmosphere flourished with Mavis and Burchin, wellbeing coordinators leading group dances to the Macarena and the Cha Cha Slide. It was a joy to see everyone letting their hair down and enjoying themselves. Our residents Emily and Teresa from Pickwick threw caution to the wind and decided to cool down in the paddling pool! Thank you to our wellbeing team for all their efforts to make the day truly memorable and to our catering team for providing the fabulous food!
