On the 7th October at Priscilla Wakefield House we celebrated Silver Sunday with an afternoon tea in our multifunction room. We celebrated the Silver Memories of our residents sharing experiences, stories, memories, heroes and singing. Our kitchen team prepared a variety of cupcakes to go along with a hot or cold drink according to everyone’s preferences.

We took this opportunity to show our appreciation to our residents Teresa, manager of PWH Shop and Patrick who purchases and delivers newspapers on a daily basis for several of our residents. Teresa and Patrick were delighted to receive a bunch of flowers and a gift voucher.

Everyone had a great time and friendships flourished through sharing life experiences and treasured memories.
