Sensing a Place @ Bruce Castle Museum – 16 May 2024

Sensing a Place is a monthly hands-on heritage for people living with dementia and their carers. We were excited to attend a Special Local History Activity for Dementia Action Week at Bruce Castle Museum in May. Our residents enjoyed looking at photos and postcards of places in Haringey from the past and were amazed at the changes that have taken place. There was also a quiz which challenged everyone to recognise local places of interest by their silhouette. There was a tempting array of cakes to be enjoyed with a cuppa while chatting and sharing stories. Thank you to all at Bruce Castle for giving us such a warm welcome. We look forward to seeing you next month!
