PWH Black History Day Celebration – 13 October 2023
Black History Month is an annual observance originating in the United States, where it is also known as African American History Month. It began as a way of remembering important people and events in the history of the African diaspora.
PWH joined the United Kingdom to celebrate with residents watching a documentary about Jamaican political activist, Marcus Garvey. They also had light snacks to accompany their watch. It was an informative day for our residents.
