We are thrilled to welcome Jeannie, trainee music therapist under Nordoff & Robbins, the biggest music therapy charity in the UK into our care home. Jeannie is completing a full-time master’s in music therapy, validated by Goldsmiths, University of London, leading to eligibility to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Jeannie is carrying out her third and final placement with us and will be joining us on Thursdays until July. Jeannie is leading a music group on Thursday afternoons which has been a great success. The room was filled with rhythm, and cheerful participation, as everyone tapped, strummed, and explored the joy of making music together. It was a fun, engaging, and uplifting experience that brought smiles and energy to all.
