LGBTQ + History Month Film Afternoon – 28 February 2024
At PWH, we embraced the spirit of inclusivity and diversity by commemorating LGBTQ+ History Month with a film afternoon. Our residents and staff came together to honour the stories, struggles, and triumphs of the LGBTQ+ community through cinematic artistry and heartfelt narratives. With popcorn in hand and hearts full of anticipation, we embarked on a cinematic journey that explored the rich tapestry of LGBTQ+ history, culture, and resilience. As we reflect on the profound impact of LGBTQ+ pioneers, activists, and artists, we are reminded of the importance of creating safe, inclusive spaces where everyone’s story is honoured and respected.
