On the 6th August, residents, families and friends joined together to celebrate Jamaica Independence Day in the courtyard.

The weather was fantastic and with music, traditional food and a quiz, the afternoon went so quickly.

While we were all together and because it was Sharon Wilson’s birthday on the same day, we all sang happy birthday to her and then we shared the cake out amongst all the residents.

Everyone said that they had a wonderful afternoon.
