International Nurses Day 12 May 2023
We celebrated our nurses on International Nurses Day and took this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU for their dedication and commitment. The day began with tea/coffee, pastries and cake at Dickens Café. Sue Ann our general manager presented each nurse with a rose as a gesture of appreciation and gratitude. Our resident painted the letters THANK YOU NURSES which were proudly displayed at reception to greet our nurses on their arrival. Our residents also recorded thank you messages for our nurses which was shown on a big screen. Our nurses were touched by the kind words and the gratitude they expressed. The nurses joined together for lunch in the multifunction room, a Turkish feast for all to enjoy giving them a well-deserved break and chance to relax.
