Ethel’s 100th Birthday Celebration – 7 February 2024
We were excited to celebrate the 100th Birthday of our resident Ethel on Havisham. Ethel was delighted to be surrounded by family, friends, and staff on her special day. Ethel and her family were happy to receive a visit from the Mayor of Haringey, Councillor Lester Buxton. The Mayor presented Ethel with a card and glass tumblers adorned with the mayoral crest which were proudly displayed beside her card from King Charles and Camilla, the Queen Consort. Our receptionist, Julie, also lovingly prepared a card adorned with an image of Queen Elizabeth II, who was the serving monarch for most of Ethel’s life. It was a memorable occasion for all.
