Eid Celebration – 16 June 2024

Eid al-Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, is one of the two holiest Islamic celebrations, observed by Muslims around the world.
The word Eid can be translated to mean festival, holiday, or celebration. Adha means sacrifice (as in, animal sacrifice) or offering. Our catering team member, Mariam, prepared a feast for our residents and staff celebrating Eid. We were thrilled to hear the following feedback from Fawziya, sister of our resident Ahmed on Pickwick
Huge, huge thank you to you all for putting on such a lovely spread on Eid day to celebrate our festivities with us.
We were so surprised to see such generous food and such a lovely spread in the reception for everyone celebrating Eid.
Big big thanks to the amazing Moroccan chef (Mariam) who had taken time from her family to come and do a fantastic job with the menu amazing food we thoroughly all enjoyed it.
Thank you to the Pickwick unit, Fiona and Mahfuj for making Ahmed look great and for Julie at reception who welcomed us so nicely.
