Dining Around the World Mexican Night – 25 September 2024
Our Dining Around the World Event took us to Mexico this month. Thanks to our wonderful catering team for going the extra mile as always to provide an authentic Mexican Menu. Tortilla chips with guacamole, salsa and refried bean dip were served to start followed by Chilli con carne with rice or baked potato or Mexican pasta with avocado salad. For dessert Churros with sugar and cinnamon dust were served. Sangria or red or white wine complemented the meal. Lively Mexican music played creating a party atmosphere. Our pinata game added the fun factor! The piñata is a fun party game that both kids and adults enjoy. A traditional piñata is hung at a certain height with players taking turns to hit the piñata with a stick or pinata buster until it breaks open. Then everyone races to collect the sweets and other treats that fall out onto the ground below. Emily from Pickwick and Rose from Copperfield were our winners who kindly shared their spoils with all!
