Our residents continued their journey of Dining Around the World and stopped at Ireland.

Dickens cafe was transformed with low lighting, candles and music for a restaurant dining experience.

Our dedicated kitchen team once again embraced the theme and provided an authentic Irish Menu as follows: – Potted water prawns/shrimps served with oatcakes, Authentic Irish Stew, Calcannon, Barmbrack (fruit bread), Ham & Cabbage with mustard sauce, St Patrick’s cakes accompanied by Guinness or Fruit Punch.

Our residents shared life stories relating to their Irish background and participated in a quiz. The group stepped outside to enjoy some fresh air before turning in for the night.

A good time was had by all.
