D – Day Dollies Concert – 5 June 2025
We were excited to welcome the D – Day Dollies for a concert to mark V E Day. The D-Day Dollies sparkling set of choreographed wartime favorites from the 1940’s, put a spring in the step and a song in the hearts of our residents, staff and visitors. Including songs from the Andrews Sisters, Judy Garland, and the inimitable Dame Vera Lynn, plus many other vintage classics, the ‘Dollies’ setlist really is the soundtrack of an amazing generation. We would like to say a big THANK YOU to Amy, daughter of our resident Luz who volunteered for the day and supported us to ensure everyone was comfortable and settled for the performance.
