Community Kindness Makes a Difference -April 2026
We are delighted to express our heartfelt thanks for the generous donations received by Seventh-day Adventist Church and High Cross United Reformed Church in support of Priscilla Wakefield Care Home. Their kindness and generosity have made a meaningful difference to our residents, helping us continue to provide a comfortable, engaging, and enriching environment for everyone in our care.
We would especially like to thank High Cross United Reformed Church, who kindly visited and donated items for our residents in memory of Evelyn’s husband, Samuel, who was once a resident at Priscilla Wakefield Care Home before sadly passing away nearly five years ago. We are truly touched that, when deciding where the donations should go, we were the first people Evelyn thought of.
Acts of kindness like these truly reflect the strength of community spirit. It is incredibly uplifting to see organisations and individuals come together to support and uplift others, and these thoughtful contributions have been greatly appreciated by both residents and staff alike.
On behalf of everyone at Priscilla Wakefield Care Home, we extend our sincere gratitude to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, High Cross United Reformed Church, and to everyone who has donated to PWH. Your compassion and generosity bring smiles, enhance daily experiences, and remind us all of the true power of giving back.
We have an open door policy which means you are welcome to visit at anytime.
