Coffee Morning & Quiz Celebrating Charles Dickens’ Birthday – 7 February 2025
A coffee morning celebrating Charles Dickens’ birthday was a delightful way to honour the legacy of this iconic writer! Dickens, born on February 7, 1812, was known for his vivid storytelling, memorable characters, and social commentary, so it’s fitting to celebrate his life and works. Brian, nephew of our resident Harry kindly shared some information about the life and works of Dickens then we tested everyone’s knowledge with a fun trivia quiz. The morning was completed with a selection of pastries and cakes accompanied by drinks of choice and mindful colouring of images of Dickens himself.
