Our resident Maurice Bartlett (who likes to be called David) kicked off another challenge launched by the kitchen team who wants to work in partnership with our residents and also involve them in the food preparation – The PWH Herb Garden.

Without any hesitation, David dug his hands into the compost to transplant some Mint to a bigger plant pot.

David was so happy doing this as it was something that he used to do and really enjoyed.

David compromised to look after them daily and advised to leave them outdoors “because now is the time to grow”.

Our Herb Garden is going to grow and soon the kitchen would be able to use the herbs to prepare some delicious dishes to serve in the home.
