Dining Around The World – Spanish Night – 15 May 2018
At PWH we decided to “travel” around the world and taste the best recipes and ingredients from each country.
On 15th May Dickens café was transformed into a Tapas Restaurant for the Spanish evening.
The tables were decorated with Spanish flags and fans, candles created a cosy environment. Residents and relatives enjoyed a Spanish meal cooked by our kitchen team, then some information about Spain was shared followed by a Spanish quiz. In the meantime a European map was given to each resident to find out where Spain was located as well as a map of Spain. Gori and Sarah-Jane wore yellow and red to match the flag colours and music by Julio Iglesias, a Spanish singer, enchanted all those present.
Everyone said that it was a lovely evening where they learnt so many things that they did not know about Spain
We are looking forward to the next trip.
