We were delighted to host our Grand Open Day celebrating the official launch of the Dickens café, multifunction room and 5 new bedrooms on 14th February.
We took the opportunity to celebrate couples within the home as it was also Valentine’s Day. A big thank you to Mr. Sylvester and Mr. Johnson, who joined their wives for the afternoon and all the families and friends who attended alongside their loved ones who live at Priscilla Wakefield House.
Former Mayor of Haringey Cllr Eddie Griffith was in attendance and cut the ribbon to officially open the café.
Angela Sealy and Tess Murdoch from Haringey CCG were also able to join us and enjoyed a tour of the home viewing the multifunction room and one of our new bedrooms along with the Mayor’s representative.
Our kitchen team excelled themselves with an array of mouthwatering canapes and sweet treats.
Everyone expressed their satisfaction and underlined the fantastic organization of the event.
