Most Sundays, residents at Priscilla Wakefield House have the opportunity to come together for a special Canaan Church Service, bringing the warmth and spirit of worship into the home.
Residents are brought together to spend time in prayer, worship, singing and reflection, alongside members of the church who kindly come to offer the service. The atmosphere is welcoming and uplifting, giving residents the opportunity to practise their faith and enjoy fellowship with others.
The service is also a lovely opportunity for residents to socialise, share in familiar hymns and listen to words of encouragement and hope. For many residents, attending the service is an important part of their Sunday routine and provides a sense of comfort, connection and community.
We are grateful to the Canaan Church team for taking the time each Sunday to visit our residents and share this special experience with them.
