A Visit to Alexandra Palace… April 2026
Our residents recently enjoyed a truly memorable day out at Alexandra Palace, where they took part in an inspiring and hands-on textiles workshop. The session introduced them to the art of stitching, cutting, and sewing, giving everyone the opportunity to explore how beautiful clothing designs are created from start to finish. With guidance and encouragement, residents experimented with fabrics, learned new techniques, and expressed their creativity in a relaxed and supportive environment.
The experience was not only educational but also filled with laughter, conversation, and a wonderful sense of achievement as each participant brought their ideas to life. It was heartwarming to see everyone so engaged and enjoying the process together. The day was perfectly rounded off with some delightful refreshments, giving residents time to relax, socialise, and reflect on their creations.
