Silver Sunday Event @ Middlesex University – 6 October 2024
Residents from Havisham & Pickwick Emily, Teresa, Vanessa and Olga were excited to attend the Silver Sunday Event at Middlesex University accompanied by wellbeing coordinators Mavis and Gurpreet. Emily, Teresa and Mavis proudly accepted their Highly Commended Certificate for their artwork entered in the NCL Virtual Art Exhibition presented by Cllr. Gill Sargeant.
They enjoyed the fantastic line up of entertainment including the North London Rock Choir, Burnt Oak Nepalese Community Group, Barnet Ukulele Group and a Bollywood Performance from Varsha. They were delighted to meet the Mayor of Barnet, Cllr. Tony Vourou who warmly congratulated them on their success.
We were delighted to welcome Talia Lief Quality in Care Advisor, Adults and Health Directorate, London Borough of Barnet, who visited us to deliver the prizes for the award. Our residents Teresa and Emily accompanied by Eleri, Senior Wellbeing Coordinator, were delighted to accept the prizes on behalf of Havisham & Pickwick.
