Dining Around the World Chinese Night – 23 May 2024
Dickens café was adorned with red and gold decorations for our Chinese Night and oriental music filled the space. Our dedicated catering team went the extra mile once more to provide our residents with an authentic Chinese menu at our Dining Around the World experience at Dickens Café. There was a choice of starters, chicken sweetcorn soup or salt & pepper ribs, seaweed, prawn toast, and prawn crackers followed by vegetable stir fry, king prawns in oyster sauce and chow mein or sweet & sweet & sour chicken with egg fried rice. Banana fritters and ice cream were served for dessert. The meal was complemented by a choice of red or white wine, lemonade or juice. Everyone agreed the meal was worthy of a restaurant in China Town!
