On 22nd July, Priscilla Wakefield House came together for a wonderful Pride Day celebration, creating a colourful and joyful occasion filled with laughter, music, friendship, and togetherness.
The day was a beautiful opportunity for residents, families, and staff to celebrate the values of inclusion, kindness, and acceptance. The home was filled with vibrant colours and cheerful decorations, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

Residents embraced the spirit of the day by wearing bright colours, taking part in activities, enjoying music, and spending time together. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and lovely conversations throughout the celebration. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves and appreciating the importance of being proud of who we are and recognising what makes each person unique.

More than just a celebration, the day provided a chance for everyone to connect, strengthen friendships, and make special memories together. The happiness shared throughout the home was a lovely reminder of the importance of community and of making sure everyone feels valued, respected, and included.

At Priscilla Wakefield House, we were proud to celebrate Pride and the message that everyone deserves to feel accepted, respected, and able to be themselves. The celebration reflected the welcoming and caring environment we strive to create everyday a place where differences are appreciated and everyone has a sense of belonging.
